Take your rig to the next level with the LGRP™ Super 8 Rear Axle, designed for maximum strength and performance. These axles offer all the benefits of wideners without the trade-offs: improved geometry, better stability, and a scale-real finish. Choose between two options: Aluminum for ultimate durability, or Injection Molded for a lighter, cost-effective alternative.

Key Features (Both Options):

Built-In Front Overdrive System
Rear axle features 2/16T worm gears to complement the 2/12T gear set used in the Super 8 Front Axle, creating a true front overdrive setup for better climbing and cornering.

+16mm Wider Stance Over Stock
Adds +8mm per side for increased stability. Total hex-to-hex width: 99.5mm.

Heavy-Duty +8 Hardened Steel Shafts
Designed to handle tough, technical lines while delivering smooth, reliable performance.

High Clearance Housing
Optimized differential shape to improve obstacle clearance and reduce drag.

Widened Link & Shock Geometry
Improved link and shock mounts for better articulation and consistent handling across rough terrain.

Clean Third-Member Styling
Scale-style third-member design for a sleek and cohesive build.

Compatible With Most Rear Upper Link Mounts
Works with LGRP’s optional upper mount or your stock SCX24™ part.

What You’ll Need to Complete:

Wheel Hex Adapters & Hex Pins: 3mm (for both options).

Rear Upper Link Mount: Purchase one from us or reuse the upper link mount from a stock SCX24™ axle if available.

Installation Notes:

Builder’s Axles: Intended for stretched wheelbase crawlers. Using them with stock-length links may cause link binding, reduced articulation, and limited wheel travel.

Lower Links: We recommend running 60mm eye-to-eye or longer for chassis with triangulated SCX24™-style skid plates.
